Age Groups:

Nursery: Ages 6-18 mths

Your infants will experience a time of structured activities designed to cover the basics of human development and fine motor skills in a faith filled enviornment.

Walkers: Ages 18 mths to 2

Your toddlers will experience a fun environment designed to teach through song, story time, and crafts. More time is devoted to lesson time and worship to help prepare your little ones as they grow and develop.

Pre-K: Ages 3-5

Your older children will experience a time of worship and a message designed specifically for their age group. Activities and play are still a large component for our Pre-K classroom.

K-5: Kindergarten to 5th

Your older children will experience a time of worship and a message designed specifically for their age group. Including small-group time provides a unique and immersive learning environment tailored just for your child.

Child Dedications:

We invite families with children ages 0 – 4 years to participate in our child dedication services. This is a special time for families to publicly commit to lead the spiritual development of their child. Child dedications are scheduled throughout the spring and fall seasons.  

Baptisms:

Baptism is the next step in your faith. It is an outward expression of an inward decision. We believe that when a child comes of age to understand these principles, baptism is a step of obedience that God has called them to. Beginning their new life in Jesus.

How do I check-in my child?

On your first visit, let our greeters at the front doors know it’s your first time with us and you want to know where the HL Kids Check-in area is and they will be happy to help you! 

At HL Kids Check-in, you’ll be welcomed by a HL Kids Superhero eager to meet your family. To check your child in, we’ll need some information at that time, including a family member’s name, your child’s name and birthday, your address, your phone number, and any special instructions. We’ll be there every step of the way, right up to when you drop your kids off at the appropriate room, so feel free to ask questions!

What are your safety measures?

In HL Kids, safety is our highest priority. Upon check-in, you’ll receive matching alphanumeric stickers. Your child will need to wear their name tag sticker and you will need to keep the matching tag. You must present the Security Tag at the end of service to pick up your child. For the safety and security of the children in our care, no child will be released from the classroom without the correct Security Tag. If we need to reach you during the service, we will text the number you provide during check-in.

Every HL Kids Superhero is screened, participates in a background check, and receives appropriate training from our Leaders. Additionally, our hallways are monitored by background-checked security during each experience to make sure your child stays safe and secure. 

In the event that we need to contact you during the service, we can either send you a text message or display your alphanumeric code on the screen in the auditorium. 

If my child has special needs, who do I inform?

If you have a child with special needs who might need a little extra support to participate in HL Kids, we’d love to partner with you to make their experience amazing! Please send us an email: [email protected] 

Are children allowed in the Main Auditorium

Our goal is to foster a distraction-free environment where all attendees can fully engage in worship and experience a meaningful encounter with Jesus, while also desiring to provide our mature adults the space to learn and grow without distraction.

While we deeply value the presence of children, we kindly encourage you to utilize HL Kids, our dedicated space that offers a fun and secure time for children to learn about Jesus each Sunday. Our team of committed leaders provides excellent care, creating an engaging and age-appropriate experience tailored to your child’s needs.

For the comfort of all attendees, children from infancy to Kindergarten are not permitted in the Main Auditorium. We are confident that your child will enjoy their time in HL Kids and look forward to them experiencing the love of Jesus in a way that is uniquely suited to them.
